Airline Baggage Rules
Rules are applied everywhere, the way you would cross a street, the speed on how you would drive, the amount of food that you should etc. But do these rules really help us on times of needs? Incidents in the past and present have contributed in coming up to Airline Baggage Rules, Airlines have rules particularly with the baggage a customer has, but before we go to Airline Baggage Rules let us describe what baggage means. Baggage is a personal belonging or transportable equipment of a passenger traveling from one place to another. This baggage can be a combination of checked bags and carry-on bags.
The general rule for domestic flights is you can check 3 bags and carry none, check 2 bags and carry-on one or check one bag and carry-on two. The checked bags cannot exceed 50 or 70 pounds per bag and the dimensions cannot exceed 45” x55” x62” for the largest bag. These rules are annoying at times especially if you have an extra baggage with you. But we should realize that the Airline Baggage Rules is created for a purpose we will never realize these purpose until something come up be it for better or for good. All we need to do is cooperate and everything will fall into its place, rest-assured.
