I am trying to find some information about the airports in United Kingdom in preparation for my trip in there later this year for the Reading Festival this August because as I remember last time, we were having some issues with the UK Airport Parking because we were no0t able to reserve ourselves some good parking spots, which resulted to tedious walking because we had to go to a different place to find a safe parking space.

The last time we were there, we took the Leeds Airport since it is near the event and we saw some number of hotels that surrounds the area, but due to the event, we were not able to get some good spots. The hotels that we saw were Britannia Leeds, Bradford Hotel, Chevin Country Park, Harrogate Moat House, Holiday Inn Leeds, Ramada Leeds Parkway and Travelodge Leeds Bradford Airport, but all of them were heavily booked. This time, I’m planning to book a flight with London Heathrow Airport, and I’m looking for some possibilities in Parking at Heathrow Airport or any Heathrow Hotels nearby. I just don’t want to experience what happened to us and the rental car the last time we were there so I’m taking some good measures now.

Last Thursday, around 4 pm local time (1500GMT), Business was slower than usual in the airports. There was a computer glitch at Britain’s air traffic control center in which causes delays and cancellations of flights. The affected airlines are said to be Heathrow, Gatwick and other airports. Scotland and the city of Manchester in Northern England are not affected. Engineers still cannot find the source and is working to fix the problem.

There has been a series of bugs in the system for the past few years, in which until now is still not fully resolved. This would greatly affect tourism in Britain. Who would like to go to a place where in you have to wait for hours or even days before you can go to a destination because of these glitches. Thy should fix the problem soon, not only would the Airlines lose some business, also the local businesses would be affected.
