Vacation planner

Vacations No Comments »

I’ve been planning a great vacation for the family especially now that school will be out soon. When I think of vacation of course this is the time that you see your kids doing their own thing, most of the time just lounging on a chair and playing with their hi-tech gadget that they brought along. Just eating and sleeping most of the time I might say because it is vacation after all. But don’t forget vacation like this can also be expensive, so when you look at it is this the kind of vacation you wish to spend with your family? An expensive vacation with most of the time nothing to do?

So I thought why not try an outdoor activity that would benefit all because it would give everyone a chance to interact with each other, explore in a different perspective, this would also challenge them physically and mentally again in a different way and we can do all of this even on a tight budget.

First outdoor activity you can do is go on a zoo trip, find out if they have a scheduled activities that will involve interacting with the animals or just bring drawing materials with you and start drawing.

Second outdoor activity go on a picnic, this is the most inexpensive way to go outdoors, and to make it more interesting visit a national park in order to take advantage of the view. While you are at it go biking, this will give you more chance of exploring and enjoying at the same time.

Third outdoor activity is hiking, this is the most popular type of activity because absolutely everyone will be able to participate. All you have to do is find the location where you want to go hiking, check weather forecast, wear the proper attire depending on the weather, proper walking shoes or hiking boots, backpack. So once you got everything ready all you have to do is admire nature and enjoy the wildlife. You can also start introducing to them to collect stones, coins or bugs while hiking and maybe you might not know this may become a full time hobby for them.

There are still so much more activities in line that you can still do, these are just my over-all outdoor review. Remember any outdoor activity that involves everybody in the family makes it a grand vacation in my book!

My Friend’s Brazilian Swimwear

Beach No Comments »

We just came back from our Brazil vacation and it was really great! The place was everything that the travel officer has told us and some few more that really made me fall in love with the country. We were able to visit a couple of places in there but the best was when we went to Copacabana in Rio de Janeiro and have a tropical fun in the beach. There was a funny story about it actually or at least depending on how you see it… It was when we came to the place and my friend forgot to bring a swimsuit. Nobody from our group was able to bring an extra and she had to buy a new one.

The problem with my friend, even though she has a nice shape, she’s shy to wear something sexy. By the time that she went to the shop, she couldn’t find a one piece bathing suit and the only thing available wherever she went were Brazilian string bikini. She was really frustrated that she wasn’t able to bring her own bathing suit. Even though she looked amazing in the swimsuit that she bought, she was really introverted about it until the time that we went back to our hotel.

Rome-ing Around

Vacations, Accommodation No Comments »

Me and my family are going on a trip to Rome next week and everything are all set up from plane tickets, itinerary, food and Rome vacation apartments. We decided to just go and get apartments rather than hotels so we could get the homey feel to it, rather than feeling like we’re inside some ornamented quarters. I really hate it when I am staying inside a place where I feel like I am the center of all attention. I want it to be mumsy as if I didn’t leave my house. Anyway, once we get there, I am planning to have a really good time with my family. I want to see every trace of Ancient Rome and how the people lived in that place from before and at present. As far as I know, Ancient Rome was a great civilization that grew out of a small rural group of people founded on the Italian Peninsula as early as the 10th century BC. To be found along the Mediterranean Sea, it became one of the major empires in the ancient world. I want to see all of those things and I want to learn more from the place where history is not just in books, but in reality as well.

Preventing Parking Nightmare

Airport No Comments »

I am trying to find some information about the airports in United Kingdom in preparation for my trip in there later this year for the Reading Festival this August because as I remember last time, we were having some issues with the UK Airport Parking because we were no0t able to reserve ourselves some good parking spots, which resulted to tedious walking because we had to go to a different place to find a safe parking space.

The last time we were there, we took the Leeds Airport since it is near the event and we saw some number of hotels that surrounds the area, but due to the event, we were not able to get some good spots. The hotels that we saw were Britannia Leeds, Bradford Hotel, Chevin Country Park, Harrogate Moat House, Holiday Inn Leeds, Ramada Leeds Parkway and Travelodge Leeds Bradford Airport, but all of them were heavily booked. This time, I’m planning to book a flight with London Heathrow Airport, and I’m looking for some possibilities in Parking at Heathrow Airport or any Heathrow Hotels nearby. I just don’t want to experience what happened to us and the rental car the last time we were there so I’m taking some good measures now.

Holidays Galore

Holidays, Turkey No Comments »

I was so furious with my friend because he was leaving for Bangkok this month. I’m not mad at him because he was leaving for Bangkok it was how much he paid for his fare that was the steal and this also comes with accommodations. It was really a bargain holidays!

I’m always one of the people who’s always on the lookout for bargains when shopping, I tend to look or buy items that are on discounts, so even when going on a holiday as much as possible I look for promos that offer cheap holidays. But take note it doesn’t mean that when they offer cheap rates you won’t be getting the same quality of service and a decent hotel with bargain holidays.

Holidays to Turkey is one of the cheapest destinations you can come and visit. Turkey is famous for its archaeological sites, it also boasts of its beautiful beaches. Popular activities are yachting, snorkeling, scuba diving, river rafting and water skiing. This is also the land of belly dancing; foods that are famous are kebabs, lambs and anything that is made with curry. Make sure you know the art of bargaining you might never know you might be bringing home good buys and if you are lucky you might be able to watch camel wrestling.

Moving to Asheville

I am looking to find a place in the Asheville private community because ever since I visited North Carolina for my best friend’s marriage, I fell in love with the place and it made me wanting to live in there for the rest of my life. As I read on a particular web site, it basically gave a perfect description in there and it says that Asheville is that type of unique, special place that lingers sweetly in your mind and memories for years to come. The city’s rich architectural legacy with its mix of Art Deco, Beaux Arts and Neoclassical styles is the perfect retro-urban backdrop to the edgy energy that emanates from the locally owned-shops and art galleries, distinctive restaurants and exciting entertainment venues. Known as an art colony, a healing resort and a home to notable luminaries, statesmen and bohemians, Asheville is one of the most welcoming, vibrant cities in America. It truly is a wonderful place to live in and every single signs are telling me that I should go on and buy a real estate in Asheville so I could fulfill my fantasy and have myself a very good life in there with my whole family.

South East Asian Trip

I went to the islands of the Philippines last month and it was a great time for me because I was able to experience a lot of things, eat delicious food and buy great stuff. The place that I went to in the Philippines is the Boracay Island where the beach is so beautiful and the sands are all white. It was one heck of an experience because I was able to meet a lot of nice people in there and my wife was able to buy herself some inexpensive automatic watch winders for her watch and another for my mother. I on the other hand, was surprised that the Filipino people have great tastes when it comes to cigars. I was also able to buy a beautiful, native looking humidor for cigars, also in a cheap price, and the best part here is it is handmade to perfection, with beautiful carvings and designs. The water in the said beach is really phenomenal, especially when we went in to the sea bed for a scuba diving and looked at the magnificent corals and fishes that the Philippine Sea holds. I just can’t wait to have another trip in there and experience the beauty of the archipelago.

Wanting To Go

I always wanted to see the Biltmore Estate and just about everything in it. That’s why I already got myself a room in one of the Asheville hotels and already have an idea which Asheville restaurants to visit. Now, according to the internet web site that I searched, Biltmore House is a French Renaissance inspired chateau near Asheville, North Carolina, built by George Washington Vanderbilt between 1888 and 1895. It is the largest privately owned home in the United States at 175,000 square feet (16,300 m2) and featuring 255 rooms. Still owned by one of Vanderbilt’s descendants, it stands today as one of the most prominent remaining examples of the Gilded Age. In 2007, it was ranked eighth on the List of America’s Favorite Architecture by the American Institute of Architects. I also want to see the 70,000 gallon (265 cubic meters) indoor swimming pool, bowling alley, turn-of-the-century exercise equipment, two-story library, and other rooms filled with artworks, furniture and 19th-century novelties such as elevators, forced-air heating, centrally-controlled clocks, fire alarms and an intercom system. Overall, I believe that this is the best place to go when visiting North Carolina, and I think I will have the best time of my life once I get there.
